MRMOT Posted October 3, 2010 Report Share Posted October 3, 2010 Nakon odlicnog albuma Waka/Yawaka, Zappa iste godine 1972. snima album Grand Wazoo i opet se dokazuje kao dobar kompozitor, aranzer i vodja big benda. Posto voli da radi u kontinuitetu, ista ekipa muzicara "The Grand Wazoo Orchestra" je realizovala i ovaj projekat. U pozadini svega je prica iz laboratorije Uncle Meata koja je objavljena na unutarnjem omotu, a zapoceta na ranijim albumima (Lumpy Gravy, Uncle Meat, Hot Rats, pa i Waka/Yawaka). Reklo bi se da je Grand Wazoo, kao jedan od najznacajnijih albuma druge polovine dvadesetog veka u stvari kruna Zappine multimedijalne studije. Jazz, fusion, prog...? Smiren NaroÄito ona (zaboravih kako se zove) sa Cobham-om - vax-vax gitara u najboljoj Hendrix-ovoj tradiciji. Možda - Are you the one i ona sa Santanom (mrzi me da tražim ploÄu). No svejedno - fenomenalan album - Bujodraže zakljuÄujem Ti 5 na polugodiÅ¡tu i Äistog keca iz vladanja zato Å¡to si me ipak naterao da dignem dupe i pustim ovu ploÄu. Bujodrag Posted October 3, 2010 Report Share Posted October 3, 2010 Ove dve sam nabavio davno.Kad sam svojevremeno rasprodao i razdelio ploÄe, njih sam, iz nepoznatog razloga, preskoÄio.Drago mi je zbog toga.Fali mi Balkan Impressions 2, taj nikad nigde nisam video.Sveukupno, opasna svirka.To nije ovaj savremeni, uglavnom bljutavi i bezazleni, etno džez ili world-music.To je, prosto, masan džez na "etno" motive, sa ponekim izvornim instrumentom.Ako ih negde vidiÅ¡, ne propuÅ¡taj priliku. Wikipedia je naÅ¡la ime za ovaj "žanr":epic progressive acoustic!Pa dobro, ima dokonih ljudi, a precizna imena im pomažu da se osećaju bezbedno.
